Workplace Hazardous Material Information System.
This Occupational Health and Safety required course covers the important components of the Chemical Hazard Regulation. It outlines how to achieve competency in training , as well as determining the classification of WHMIS products. Exercises will include supplier and workplace labeling, Occupational Exposure limits, chemical routes of entry and material safety data sheets (MSDS).
Bring in your list of chemicals and MSDS for a more site specific training program. Lecture and movie or multi media format included. We recommend regular updating, as per your company policy to ensure your staff are competent on the use of Controlled Products.
Open book exam. Up to 4 hours in length depending on class size and volume of WHMIS products. Certification awarded following successful completion of course.
